Transplanting with Agri-gel®

To protect the roots from drying, just dip your plant roots into a slurry of Agri-gel®. The gel will cling to the roots and equip your plants with better survivability and emergence. For transplanting with Agri-gel®, all you need is a container to prepare the slurry and dip the roots.

Rates of Use

To prepare the Agri-gel® transplanting slurry, just use 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce of product per gallon of water (4.5 grams to 7.5 grams per 1 liter of water).

Plug Planting with Agri-gel®

Agri-gel® can be used effectively as an ingredient of the plug mix. Not only does it provide continuous moisture but it allows for easy filling of the plugs. The rates will vary according to the type of plugs, the amount of peat, and other ingredients used.
